Home Inspection finds Mold - Now What?

We get urgent calls each month from realtors and home owners who are in the midst selling their home.  Before they bank and buyer finalizes the deal, a home inspection will be required.  This protects the sellor and the buyor from undisclosed or undiscovered problems in the home.  Often, mold is one of the issues that has gone unnoticed for years.

Home inspectors cannot diagnose mold.  They will list the problem as "Microbial Growth" and suggest that the customer bring in a professional mold inspector.  And, that is where Extreme Mold Inspection enters the program.  We have the equipment, experience, and resources to diagnose, estimate, and treat all types of mold problems.

We take pride in the times we have performed a mold inspection and discovered that the problem was not mold.  That may sound odd as mold is our business, but we value our integrity.  We prefer to make our money fairly, and not every job needs to be a mold problem.

We do find that there is a tendency for many companies to exacerbate and hype the mold threat, then overcharge for the service.  Our service has always been honest and priced fairly.

We use the best test equipment so the customer can see what we see.  Rather than the opinion of a compnay-paid mold inspector (salesman), we use the meters to demonstrate the actual problem and explain the findings.
